Issue Description: ============== You are not able to see columns associated with 'Document Set' content type when you view or edit properties of Document Sets. When you view or edit properties of Document Set you can just see the "Name" column.  Resolution ======== You can add a web part to the DispForm.aspx or Editform.aspx and then add a connection filter for the web part. 1. Open the affected site in SharePoint Designer  2. Navigate to the affected Library where you have the Document Sets.  3. Edit the Dispform.aspx and search for below line in the code: <TemplateName xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WebPart/v2/ListForm">DocumentLibraryForm</TemplateName> 4. Comment out or delete the above code of line and save the page.  5. If you see the same thing when you edit properties of Document Set then do the same thing for Editform.aspx and save the changes.

Issue: ======== "A system restart from a previous installation or update is pending . Restart your computer and run setup to continue." Steps to Resolution: ==================== 1. Open the registry from Start > Run > regedit 2. Go to " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager " 3. Rename the key "PendingFileRenameOperations" to someting like PendingFileRenameOperations_OLD 4. Close the registy editor. Now run the PSConfig wizard to complete the setup. Recently I have seen issues while accessing newly created SharePoint 2013 site collections that when we access the site the request gets processed by IIS but still on the browser it shows the great message: Working on it.... After looking at it for some time, found that if we try to access the Site settings page "/_layouts/15/settings.aspx" it renders fine. But if we try to access any of the Page, Document Library or any List it gets stuck on the Working on it message. You will see n o search results are returned while trying to search for keywords within PDF Documents on the SharePoint site. The reason why it cannot crawl those is because of Insufficient permissions for the 'Default Content Access Account' on the PDF iFilter folder. Below are the steps to resolve this issue: ========================================= • Go to following location on your SharePoint Index and Crawl Server "%Program Files%\Adobe\Adobe PDF iFilter 9 for 64-bit platforms\bin" directory or the installation location of the pdf ifilter. • Add the 'Default Content Access Account' of the Search Service Application. Make sure you at least provide 'Read', 'Read & Execute' and 'List Folder Contents' permissions to the account. • Once you provide above said permissions then go ahead and start a Full Crawl. • In certain cases, you may also have to reboot the SharePoint servers.
